DRAWING DESPITE IT ALL

Hi, my name is Selina! •ᴗ•

I am an aspiring illustrator and visual artist who has a passion for creating emotionally intense, vibrant pieces influenced by music, movies and the big moments in politics and (pop) culture. For this reason, I am particularly interested in editorial illustration and cover art.

With my tablet I can get creative anytime and anywhere I go. However, I am mostly drawing on the train commuting to work (getting inspired by the stuff I’m listening to) or huddled on the sofa (inspired by the stuff I’m watching). Every day I am grateful that I have easy access to a vast treasure of human creativity in the form of songs, (audio) books or movies!

I love to do my own little projects, create art prints or do commissions like family portraits or personalized postcards. Besides that, I contributed illustrations to a web comic called „We move mountains with spoons“ and illustrated a cook book as a wedding gift.
